The Dolphin Club is celebrating its 150th Anniversary in 2027. John Wieland and Valentine Kehrlein, Sr., immigrants from Germany, established the Dolphin Swimming & Boating Club in August 1877 with twenty-five charter members. The following year, a small boathouse and pier were built at the foot of Leavenworth Street near its intersection with North Point Street, that being the San Francisco Bay shoreline at the time. Much has changed in San Francisco and at the Club in the intervening 150 years. We are in a newly renovated building at Aquatic Park, with 2100 members and our landlord is the City and County of San Francisco. The City has gone through social, economic and even geological earthshattering times, yet we still swim, we still row, and we still celebrate at every opportunity. This 2027 Calendar reflects just that - our swimming, rowing and celebrating over the years. We hope you like it, and that the Club and SF Bay bring you joy for many years to come.

Profit from calendar sales will go to the Dolphin Youth Swim Fund via the Dolphin Swimming and Boating Foundation. Thank you!
