Here you'll find answers to your questions about how to order your calendar and how to prepare your photos before uploading them to CalendarLink.org.

How do I place an order for a calendar?

First, create a profile. When you complete the profile, you will receive an e-mail so that you can log in to your organization’s website to create your calendar, and enter at a later time to make edits or order more calendars.

The e-mail you will receive will provide you with a user name and password. Log in to the website with the user name and password. You will be instructed in how to create your calendar, and then how to purchase your calendar using your credit card.

How long should it take to create a calendar?

We suggest that you spend some time with friends or family to make your calendar creation experience more fun. Once you have collected your 13 pictures that you want to include in the calendar, the calendar creation process should take about 15 minutes.

Can I order reprints? How much are they?

You can order reprints. The prices for the reprints are on the website.

Is my personal information kept private?

Your credit card number and other personal information are encrypted before being transmitted on the internet. We will never divulge, give, share, trade, or sell any information you send us to anyone else, unless we are compelled to do so by legal authorities.

What about my photos?

After you upload your photos to our server, we move them to our private archive where they are kept off the internet. We will maintain your photos in our archive for twelve months solely for the purpose of producing any replacement or additional calendars for you. We will never use your photos or allow them to be used for any other purpose. We should add that we reserve the right to refuse to print anything we consider to be obscene or pornographic.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping charges are calculated during checkout.

When does my credit card get charged?

Your credit card gets charged when you purchase your calendar on line.

Can I see my calendar before you print it?

Yes. You can view your calendar online as part of the purchasing process.

How long will it take for me to receive my calendar?

You will receive your calendar within 7-10 business days after purchase.

How do I upload photos?

Uploading is easy! Through the calendar creation process you will be prompted to browse your hard drive for a photo for the cover of your calendar and for a photo for each month (you also have the opportunity at this time to indicate a caption for each month)

Do I get a caption for each photo?

Yes, you do. Captions are completely optional. You will be prompted for captions on the file upload screen. Please enter these in exactly as you want them to appear.

What if I don’t want to upload my pictures, but still want to order a great calendar?

Your organization has provided you an alternative to order a “standard” calendar with the organization’s images. You can order the calendar they have selected. Additionally, your organization has many times created a photo gallery. You can use the gallery to create a customized calendar.

At what resolution should I save my digital photos?

To obtain maximum quality 300 DPI resolution is recommended

What ratio should the photos be?

Use horizontal photos only 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum. Photos must have a width to height ratio (width divided by height) between 1.33 & 1.66

What type of format can the photos be?

File types can be JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and GIF.

What is the maximum letter size for the monthly caption?

Day captions cannot be longer than 14 letters

How many daily entries can I create per month?

Maximum 5 day captions per month. The monthly entries cannot be longer than 30 letters.

If I make a new calendar next year, will my important dates be saved?

Yes, your calendar entries will be saved for 12 months.

How many MegaPixels should my digital camera have?

Digital camera resolutions are usually described in terms of MegaPixels (MP). We suggest at least 2MP or better.

My digital photos are lower resolution than you recommend. Is this going to be a problem?

Yes, this will be a problem. Our calendar software will reject images lower than 300 DPI.
