Pacific Beach Middle School, an International Baccalaureate World School, has partnered with local business CalendarLink to strengthen its 2010-2011 fund-raising efforts.
The 6th through 8th-grade school, which strives to provide innovative, historic and interesting programs for its students, is hoping to raise money to support various programs at the school.
"Calendarlink will help to fund exciting projects, clubs, and fieldtrips such as our new Waves of Green student garden, our hard-working community service clubs, and our annual East Coast Fieldtrip. With budgets being so tight, we think the personalized calendar fundraiser will be a win-win for our community and our school," says Jennifer Sims, International Baccalaureate Coordinator PB Middle School.
Through the partnership with CalendarLink, school families and friends go online and create custom photo calendars, with a minimum of $10.00 per order going back to PB Middle School.
Launched this year by San Diego surfer/entrepreneur John Conover, CalendarLink.org is helping charitable organizations like PB Middle School achieve their fund-raising goals. With no upfront costs, the passive, online, revenue program is simple for local organizations to utilize.
