Holmes Elementary, Marston Middle School, Clairemont High School, St. Mark's Nursery School and Escuela Longfellow, have partnered with local business CalendarLink to raise funds for various initiatives and programs.
Launched this year by San Diego surfer/entrepreneur John Conover, CalendarLink.org is helping charitable organizations achieve their fund-raising goals through the sale of customizable calendars. With no upfront costs, the passive, online, revenue program is simple for local organizations to utilize, and provides a healthier alternative to selling fatty foods.
"Over the years, I’ve seen my daughter come home with everything from cookie dough to kettle corn to mini-pizza fundraisers, said John Conover, founder of CalendarLink. Really, it’s all stuff you don’t want in your house, much less pay for. At CalendarLink, we can provide schools with a healthy alternative to fundraising.”
Through the partnership with CalendarLink, school families and friends go online and create custom photo calendars, with a minimum of $10.00 per order going back to the school of their choice.
To create a customized calendar supporting a Clairemont School, visit CalendarLink.org and select your school of choice from a drop-down menu.
